Welcome to Porcupine Mountain Fun on-line.  This site is dedicated to showing you how you can have fun at the Porcupine Mountains in the Western Upper Peninsula of Michigan.  We at the Porcupine Mountain Ski Shop want you to know that the Porcupine Mountains are a four season destination providing fun and relaxation for the whole family.  Please visit all the pages of our site.  We're sure they will convince you that the Porcupine Mountains are the place to go this winter, summer, spring or fall.

Come Play in the Porkies! Snowmobile, downhill ski, cross-country ski, snow board, snowshoe or just relax.  You'll experience the highest vertical drop in Michigan or Wisconsin and you'll see spectacular, panoramic views of Lake Superior. The Porkies are home to one of the first alpine ski areas in the Midwest as well as some of the most scenic Nordic ski trails in the entire Great Lakes region.

Sporting a vertical drop of 787 feet, the Porcupine Mountains Ski Area has 42 runs that are served by a triple chair, double chair, T-bar, and handle tow. The chalet offers ski and snowboard rentals, pro shop, rest rooms, fireplaces, public phone, National Ski Patrol, and cafeteria.
