The Chalet

A attractive A-frame chalet adds Alpine charm to the Porkies. Located at the foot of Hiawatha, the chalet is spacious and well equipped with large picture windows, 3 fireplaces, food service, ski shop, rental service and National Ski Patrol first aid. There is a private room available for groups and the chalet may be rented for evening use.

Ski School

Private lesson (1 hour) - $30
Smei-Private Lesson, 2 people - $20 each/hr
Group lesson - $12/hr

Something Special

Ski Ecology: Look for "Winter Wildthing" stations as you ski and discover our natural heritage. Naturalist guided snowshoe hikes are offered every Saturday, Sunday and other times by request. Saturday evenings follow the soft glow of lanterns placed along Superior Loop XC trail and join our naturalist by the bonfire.
